Jake joined IAC for Action in 2019. Prior to that Jake served as the Arizona Regional Director for the ADL and, over the course of 15 years working in finance and running his own company, Jake served in a variety of volunteer communal leadership roles, including: president of Phoenix’ pro-Israel PAC; co-chair of the Israel & Overseas Committee of the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix; and member of AIPAC’s Arizona Council. Born and raised in the US, Jake grew up with a grandmother who was an Auschwitz survivor. His grandma’s experiences escaping the Russian Revolution and surviving the Holocaust sparked his interest in international relations, history and politics and inspired his commitment to working for Jewish security and defense. In 1998, at age 24, Jake made Aliyah and served as a combat soldier in an IDF commando unit during the Second Intifada. Jake earned his MBA from Columbia University in 2006.
