The Gvanim Ramon delegation is intended for Israeli – American women from across the USA
who have chosen to establish their homes there.
The women take part in a series of sessions that develop and empower women’s leadership.
In the sessions, they dive deep into the meaning of the Jewish – Israeli – American identity, acquire tools and gain experiences in community building.
Following the sessions, the women travel to Israel in a leadership delegation and will join the leadership network of the Israeli and Jewish community in the United States.
Key goals:
- Creating leading and influential female leadership in the community
- Strengthening the connection to Israel and Jewish identity
- Exposure and learning about the variety of Jewish and Israeli identities and bringing them into the life, discourse and family and community activities.
Gvanim Ramon is designed for:
- Israeli American women living in the United States for several years, as well as, for the second generation of Israeli immigrants to the United States.
- Women who express a desire and commitment to be active, contributing, and leading figures in the local community.
- Full commitment to meetings (see details below)
- Women with the ability to embrace and accept different opinions, voices, and positions.
4 months including:
- Eight two-hour local sessions
- A community building experience
- An eight-day leadership delegation to Israel
Upon graduation, the alumni join the IAC Leaders Network
Spring delegation Main dates:
- Sessions and community experiences – June-November
- Delegation to Israel – October 24 – October 31
