Event Cancelation and Refund Policy

Prior to June 5, 2025

We appreciate your interest in events hosted by the IAC and understand that circumstances may lead to the cancellation of ticket purchases. Please review our cancellation policy outlined below:

Cancellation Period:
Tickets may be canceled up to 7 days before the event for a refund. Cancellation requests received after this period may not be eligible for a refund. If you purchased a ticket 7 days or less before the event starts, the ticket will be non-refundable.

Cancellation Process:
To initiate a cancellation, please contact the local IAC team member via email, or submit a ticket through the Eventbrite website.
Refunds will be processed using the same method as the original payment and will take 5-7 business days. Please note that the exact timing may vary depending on the customer’s financial institution and their policies.

Force Majeure:
IAC reserves the right to cancel or postpone the event due to unforeseen circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters, government regulations, or other emergencies.

Event Cancellation:
If the IAC cancels an event, ticket holders will be notified via email, and refunds will be issued to all ticket holders. IAC may change the location or date of an event considering security reasons, weather etc. Should there be a change in the scheduled date, customers will have a 3-day window from the revised announcement date to cancel their registration and receive a full refund. Refund requests must be submitted in the same way regular refunds are submitted (see “Cancellation Process”)
IAC will not be liable for any expenses or losses incurred by attendees as a result of the change.

Transfer of Tickets:
Tickets are non-transferable; only the individual who purchases them is permitted to use them unless authorized by a member of the IAC team.

Processing Fees:
Processing fees apply to refund requests. Customers may be responsible for covering these fees, and the determination of applicable charges will be made on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of IAC.

Payment Dispute Resolution:
In the event of any payment disputes, we ask attendees to first contact the IAC team for resolution. Our team is committed to addressing any concerns or issues regarding payments in a timely and efficient manner. We believe that direct communication and collaboration are essential during this process.

Exceptions:
Refund request within 7 Days Before the Event may be considered for exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis, considering the reasons for cancellation.
Please contact the local IAC team member or submit a refund request through the Eventbrite website. Additional documents may be required.

Confirmation of Understanding:
By purchasing a ticket, the attendee acknowledges and understands the cancellation policy at the time of ticket purchase.
